Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian
After a long standing feud it seems that the impossible has occurred – Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton are friends again! Apparently Paris and Kim had a reunion at the Cannes Film festival which didn’t just involve icy cold hellos, but a nice long chat and some drinks together!
They have been fighting since Kardashian went from Hilton hanger-on to a star in her right and reality television pioneer.
The pair bumped into each other at the AMfAR gala on Thursday at the Hotel do Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes.
A source close to Kardashian said that they shared a big hug, then plenty of smiles and talked for a lengthy period.
The source told the media: “They really have no problem with each other; it has been a long time.” Kim Kardashian was basically unknown until Paris introduced her to the world of paparazzi and nightclubs. But by 2007 Kim Kardashian was almost a bigger name than Paris, and today Kim Kardashian is a self made multi-millionaire with a number of reality TV shows and product lines.
Kim Kardashian and Brittny Gastineau
Just as Kim Kardashian had a bust up with friend Paris Hilton, rumors abound that she has had a fight with friend Brittny Gastineau.
Radaronline.com reports that Brittny has stopped returning Kim’s phone calls after the announcement of the divorce from Kris Humphries. According to a source close to the pair: “Brittny was very concerned about Kim’s decision to jump into this marriage, and she expressed that to her, in a very loving way”. So Kim must have ignored Brittny’s advice and we’ve all seen the outcome.
The source continued: “It didn’t seem to bother Kim at the time, which was around the time the engagement was announced. Maybe Kim felt like a fool, and perhaps she should have listened to Brittny. Brittny isn’t the ‘I told you so’ type. She is very hurt that Kim has frozen her out of her life right now.”
Brittny recently had her 28th birthday party and made it very clear she was not in the mood to talk to Kim. Kim’s rash decision to marry and quickly divorce may have cost her some respect and a few friends.
Brittny has been close to Kardashian for a number of years and even caught the bouquet at Kim’s wedding!
Kim Kardashian and Paris HIlton
Paris Hilton has decided to reconcile with Kim Kardashian! The pair used to be BFF, but jealousy made their relationship fall apart. Well now they are friends again after Paris Hilton approached Kardashian at a Grammys after party and apologized for past indiscretions.
A source told gossip magazines: “Paris and Kim warmly embraced and genuinely seemed happy to see each other, Kim wished Paris a happy birthday… Paris thanked her for the kind things she said about [her] in the Haper’s Bazaar interview.”
In related Kim Kardashian news, she has posted some behind the scenes photos from her time in a recording studio, recording the first Kim Kardashian song!
Kim blogged about the photos: “Ok guys, I’ve decided to share some fun special photos from my first day in the recording studio with The Dream! This was such a fun experience! It was so great to do something completely out of my comfort zone and I really recommend that you guys challenge yourselves to do the same this year!”
50% of the profits from the song will go to cancer research, cancer has affected both Kardashian’s family and “The Dreams” family (the hip hop producer who helped record the song).
