Kim Kardashian in new Movie
Kim Kardashian has really had a rough few weeks, with the announcement of her divroce with husband Kris Humphries, only 72 days after they married. However that hasn’t stopped Kim working as hard as usual, making numerous public appearances and promoting various products.
Kardashian was recently in Australia despite her marriage crumbling. She has numerous appearances booked, but eventually decided to jet back to the USA to meet with Kris Humphries in Minnesota and discuss their breakup.
Now she is off to another job, this time a movie role with Kardashian set to make an appearance in the movie “The Marriage Counselor”, written by Tyler Perry. The title of the film is very ironic considering her current predicament!
In the film, Kardashian plays a co-worker of the marriage counselor who helps the counselor with a make over. The script is based on the successful play of the same name which was a hit. At this point we are unsure if it’s a minor role or Kim will get a substantial amount of screen time.
As for Kardashian, sources close to the celebrity say that she is trying to maintain a low profile while she gets her life sorted after the divorce. Once filming has completed she will be heading back home to lay low for a while.
Kim’s mom Kris Jenner spoke to People magazin about Kardashian: “This is an incredibly difficult time for her, She has always tended to bury herself in work in times like this, but we’re all here for her and she has a big support system in all of us”
Kim Kardashian talking to Kris Humphries
TMZ has reported that Kim Kardashian has flown to Minnesota in a rushed meeting with soon to be ex-husband Kris Humphries and the minister that married them.
A source close to Kardashian tells TMZ that the meeting is not a reconciliation but there is still a tiny chance that the marriage can be saved. The meeting is more about closure according to the source, so that Kim and Kris can separate amicably. With Kim Kardashian’s track record for nasty seperations (rapper Ray J did leak the Kim Kardashian sextape after all), it’s no wonder she wants to break up on good terms.
Kim arrived in Minneosta at 5.30am yesterday with just a bodyguard in tow. None of her relatives came along for the trip which is surprising because it’s the kind of event that mother Kris Jenner would normally help with.
For a change, no reality television cameras were in place to film the exchange between Kardashian and Humphries. The source close to Kardashian said that she did not take the decision to divorce very lightly, despite it happening so quickly there was a build up of a few weeks of unhappiness beforehand.
Kim Kardashian leaves Australia
Kim Kardashian has been in Australia for the last few days on a promotional tour but has suddenly canceled the 2nd part of the trip and returned to the USA! A representative for Kardashian has said that “She went to Australia to honor her commitments. However, during this very difficult time she felt it’d be best to return home to close friends and family”
The trip to Australia was a quite lucrative affair for Kardashian, with fees estimated to be close to $150’000 AUD for various appearances over the space of 5 days.
Kim also appeared on a popular morning show and was quizzed about her 72 day marriage and divorce to Kris Humphries and whether or not she sought counseling.
Kardashian responded: “I think when you know so deep in your heart that you just have to listen to your intuition, and follow your heart There’s no right or wrong thing to do.”
As for the reason for going to Australia so soon after a break up: “Of course I do want some time to myself, and it’s a really tough thing to go through, but I didn’t want to bail on everyone”
Kardashian also denied that the entire marriage was about making money and increasing her reputation. We don’t know what will happen to the wedding presents, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, or the 20 carat diamond ring given to her by Kris Humphries, worth over $1 million.
Kim was very adamant in her denials the marriage was scam, saying “It’s kind of what you get from living your life so publicly on a reality show. I get that. Anyone that would get married for a TV show – it’s just, you know, ridiculous”
We are left wondering if a spiteful Kris Humphries has a new Kim Kardashian sex tape in his collection which could be leaked at any point now!
Kim Kardashian single again
Post seperation, Kim Kardashian’s close friends are already attacking Kris Humphries in recent comments. Kris apparently said he was happy with a simple life in his home town of Minnesota, but as soon as the marriage to Kim Kardashian started to fall apart he began “chasing fame”.
Humphries is already talking about designing a Kris Humphries cologne, and various other products apparently trying to emulate the success that Kim Kardashian has had. Kris has also been making nightclub appearances! What a way to mark a divorce, non-stop partying..
Kris wants to stay in close contact with the Kardashians and that made Kim’s close friends aware that he may have his own business ventures in mind and needed the Kardashian brand association to make them work. Kris has already hired a publicist, not sure why someone who wanted a quiet life in Minnesota would need one of those!
Kim Kardashian Divorce
So much for the fairy tale romance and wedding between Kim Kardashian and professional basketballer Kris Humphries. It is ending in divorce after only 72 days! It’s even worse when you consider that for many of those 72 days the couple were apart, working in different parts of the country.
Ryan Seacrest has confirmed that the couple is going to get a divorce as soon as possible after the whirlwind romance and marriage ceremony.
Seacrest, who also works as executive producer on Keeping up with the Kardashians, confirmed the divorce via Twitter: “Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few mins.” The divorce papers filed yesterday, cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce.
The marriage itself was one of the biggest Hollywood has ever seen, cost millions of dollars and was filmed for a television special.
The entertainment show E!, who bought the rights to the marriage ceremony for an estimated $2 million dollars, released a statement: “All of us at E! are surprised and saddened by this news, and we send our support to Kim and Kris at this difficult time. The Kardashians have always been uniquely open with all aspects of their lives from joyous events to intimate moments to heartbreaking transitions”
So was that $2 million dollars down the drain for E!? Apparently not as their viewership went up, and the advertising space during the television special was quite lucrative.
Kim Kardashian said of the divorce: “After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”
From what can gather it was indeed Kim’s decision to get divorced, and a seemingly devastated Kris Humphries said: “I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work”
Well it looks like it’s too little too late, as Kim Kardashian already wants out of the marriage and will soon be looking for a new man no doubt!
Kim Kardashian wedding a noisy affair!
All reports indicated that Kim Kardashian’s wedding went very well, all of the guests had a ball… but the neighbours not so much!
There were a record 22 calls to the police over the noise from Kardashian’s wedding. Apparently the noise from nearly 500 wedding guests drinking and dancing as well as Earth Wind and Fire playing, was very loud!
The event was held in Montecito, California at a private estate and many celebrity guests were invited. Apparently the estate is surrounded by many other large and wealthy estates and they don’t like having their evenings interrupted by reality television and former sex tape stars having a party.
In addition to the music and drunken noise from the party, the neighbors had to deal with hovering helicopters as the media tried to get some footage of the party and wedding ceremony.
Luckily for Kardashian there were no arrests and that included Lindsay Lohan, who was seen at the bar enjoying a number of Tequila shots. Kim also had plenty of security so if the neighbors decided to gatecrash they would be thrown back very easily. More Kim Kardashian Wedding News coming!
Kim Kardashian Wedding Dress
In true Kim Kardashian style she was online tweeting and blogging about her wedding ceremony not long after it finished! Kim took to her blog to tell fans “We are officially married!” and share a couple of insights into the wedding.
The ceremony itself went for about 30 minutes according to guests and was a very elegant affair. Kim had her stepfather, Bruce Jenner walk her down her aisle because her biological father, celebrity attorney Robert Kardashian, passed away a few years ago.
Kim was thinking of her dad on the day though, writing: “I so wish my dad could be here today to walk me down the aisle, But I know in a way he is here, and I feel his loving presence all around me. I love and miss you, dad”
Ryan Seacrest was at the event, along with many other celebrities, and he said of the ceremony: “It was Beautiful.. Kim looked regal, a perfect night. I just danced with the whole family.”
E! news will will air footage from the wedding Sunday at 6 p.m. ET/PT, and a two-part special, Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, will air Oct. 9 and 10.

Kim Kardashian Married!
Well Kim Kardashian has finally done the deed and is married to professional basketballer Kris Humphries! The couple had only been dating for 6 months prior to the wedding so it’s quite a fast engagement and wedding.
The wedding took place on a private estate in Montecito California and apparently 440 guests turned up for the event.
The list of attendees is like a whos who of reality television and celebrities with a number of professional sporting stars as well. Guests included Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato, Serena Williams, Ryan Seacrest, Melanie Brown, Sugar Ray Leonard, Kathie Lee Gifford, Brody Jenner, Avril Lavigne, and Lindsay Lohan!
Bruce Jenner walked Kim down the aisle in what was said to be a very romantic ceremony. Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian served as maids of honor while younger sisters Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Kris’ sister Kaela were bridesmaids. Little Mason Disick (Kourtney’s son) was the ring bearer.
In true Kardashian style, she had 2 more changes of clothing throughout the night for the wedding reception.

Kim Kardashian married today!
Kim Kardashian is getting married today and is said to be very excited about the occasion. After a few hectic months of planning and nutting out every minute detail of the wedding and reception, team Kardashian is ready for the big day.
Kim Kardashian took to her blog to let her fans know about her excitement, writing: “I can’t believe it’s finally here! Thank you so much to everyone who made this day happen!!!!!”
That’s a lot of exclamation points, the girl is obviously excited!
Kardashian also asked fans to sign her “Virtual Wedding Guestbook” bu leaving a comment on the blog. Kim finished the blog post by signing off: “You guys mean the world to me, and I want to thank you for all your love and support. I love you!!!”
Kim Kardashian Wedding Rumors
Well the big day is approaching and soon Kim Kardashian will no longer be a single hotty, but an honest woman, married to professional basketballer and giant, Kris Humphries.
A lot of rumors have been spread about the upcoming big day and we have collated some of them here for you guys and girls to check out.
She is apparently bleaching, toning, and removing hair from almost every part of her body in preparation for the wedding night. She has been tweeting madly about the optimizing of the Kim Kardashian machine and the most recent one was: “Just had the best chiropractor appointment, then massage and Korean spa scrub!”.
Kris Humphries can expect a spotless, toned and beautiful Kim Kardashian on their wedding night, pimped and pampered to within an inch of her life! She has even had “several consultations” on the right shade of nail polish for the event. Yes that sounds like something worth consulting on..
Kim has asked guests to adhere to a dress code! The strict planning of the wedding even specifies what the guests should wear, and they must wear either black or white. We can probably assume this means that the wedding party will be dressed in many vibrant colors. Some gossip blogs have indicated that Kim will be wearing a “non-traditional” gown designed by Vera Wang, so yes that means not white.
..and those wedding dresses. Kim has three wedding dresses to choose from, she narrowed it doen that far at least. Each dress costs around $25’000 USD, so they aren’t the cheapest options in the shop. Kardashian is still struggling with the decision and will narrow it down again this week. So far she has had an estimated 16 fitting sessions, trying on various dresses and getting the sizing ‘just right’.
Next rumor: Green will not be ‘the’ color! One recent rumor was that the entire bridal party was going to be dressed in green was apparently started by one of the Kardashian sisters. However it’s ’99% not true’ according to a source close to the wedding.
The location of the actual ceremony and reception has been narrowed down! It is the same luxury estate that Ben Affleck and J-Lo were going to be married in, Sotto Il Monte, in the Santa Barbara town of Montecito. Apparently some huge luxurious estate!
The final rumor – the honeymoon will be delayed! Much to fiance Kris Humphries disappointment, Kim Kardashian is a very busy woman and intends to remain so. That means the honeymoon will be delayed until 2012 according to some. Kardashian has the MTV Video Music awards and the New York filming of “Kourtney & Kim take New York” to keep her busy next week. That means a couple of days to relax after the wedding, then back to work!
